John Brooks (referee)
John Edmund C. Brooks (born 1990) is an English football assistant referee who is on the Select Group panel of assistant referees for the Premier League. He is affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association and often assists referee Mike Dean.
In January 2013 Brooks was dropped from a game for comments reportedly made to Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott that he should thank fans following the game for having paid £62 for a ticket.
